Membership

SIN organises 5-6 events a year. These events provide insight into the latest developments in the information profession and members will have a chance to visit a number of interesting organisations and institutions. Networking is still a key skill for a successful information professional.

As publicised at the 2005's AGM, SIN agreed to confirm membership by asking all members to complete a simple form to comply with data protection issues.

Membership is free.

Become a committee member

Committee members attend 5-6 meetings a year and should get involved in organising at least one event. Involvement is an excellent way to get know many people in this sector and could be very useful for career development. If interested please contact John Coll for an informal chat.
